Hokey-Cokey, what’s going on?
Well, my dedicated followers (Yes, all two of you), there are various developments approaching.
For one, in November 2009, GothyBeans will be attending The Thought Bubble Convention in Leeds (UK).
You may already have known this. But did you know there will be a wide variety of inexpensive merchandise of variable quality?
Confirmed Con items include:
- Comic book editions of GothyBeans. 25ish pages.
- Trade Paper Back - Limited 2009 Edition. TPBs will be signed, doodled in and totaling 20 books with 4 different editions – Expresso, Latte, Cinnamon Latte and Cappuccino flavors. They will include 100 strips refurbished for print, plus bonus material.
- Christmas Cards – Various Designs, including Emo Lemur.
- Mousepads.
- Colouring book.
- Badges - Con exclusive designs.
- A variety of printed things.
- Some kind of bizarre raffle.
If there is anything else you’d like to see, please do suggest it.
Mugs and shirts have been in the works for a while, but are proving difficult. They are those sort of things that require a good amount of pre-orders and commitment, so I’m waiting until they can be supported.

Don’t worry about it. There will be online pre-ordering and a shop set up. Both so we can gauge what level of interest there will be, and to alleviate the impact of customs fees (Buying books from the States will probably cripple me).
